there is no significant interactions between benzene and water , water is a polar molecule and benzene is a non polar molecule hence , there is no miscibility between the two liquids ,the mixture will have low boiling point as the volatility increases when benzene is added to water as the benzene molecule gets in between the water molecule , thus reducing the amount of hydrogen bonding between the water molecules . hence the water molecules finds it easy to escape
