Many of you tend to think that herbals are safer than pharmaceuticals because they’re more natural. They also believe that herbals can help, but not hurt. What do you think about herbals? If an herbalist tells you that an herb has the ability to treat headaches, but no side effects or toxicity. Do you believe the herbalist? Why or why not? Is “natural” always better than “artificial” ? Explain why the general assumption that natural flavors are safer or "better for you" than artificial flavors.

Herbal is a book containing the names & descriptions of plants with information on their medicinal , toxic powers. It may also classify the plants it describes may give recipes for for herbal extracts.

Yes , by believing the herbalist that herb has the ability to treat headaches , but no side effects because herbalist do some research on a particular substance & bring the results .

To treat headaches 2 powerful herbs are useful - ginger tea & fever few tea herbal infusion.

Natural flavours are better than artificial because natural flavour is the essential oil or any product of roasting , herb , bark , root , dairy products whose function in food is flavouring rather than nutrional. Artificial flavour are those that are made from components that do not included in natural flavours.
