Complete this table of values for four aqueous solutions at 25

Complete this table of values for four aqueous solutions at 25

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Solution :- thje formulas for the each conversion and detailed steps are shown below.

Solution A

Given [H+] = 5.7*10-6

[H+] [OH-] = 1*10-14

Therefore

[OH-] = 1*10-14/ [H+]

[OH-] = 1*10-14/ 5.7*10-6

[OH-] = 1.75*10-9

pH =-log [H+]

pH= -log[5.7*10-6]

pH= 5.24

pH + pOH = 14

therefore pOH =14- pH

                pOH = 14
