I need to make 100 ML of 1.0 M CdTe (or Cadmium Telluride) how would I do this?
I need the grams for each substance added, the type of acid added to the substance when testing ph, what ph it should be at, and the potential when it comes to running the substance for depositons on a potentiostat.

Thank you so much!!

Hi i am sorry Cadmium Telluride is insoluble in water or any other solvent. Hence we cannot make 100 ML of 1.0 M CdTe.

For soluble salts general procedure is transfer molar mass equivalent grams of solid into 1 liter graduated volumetric flask and make up to the 1 liter mark with distilled water to get 1M solution.

Example: to prepare 1M Nacl solution we will transfer 58.44 g of NaCl into 1 liter graduated volumetric flask and make up to the 1 liter mark with distilled water to get 1M solution.
