please answer all these three questions with good explanations
1. Discuss potential problem of 1D NMR for large molecule.
2. Discuss how 2D NMR enhances resolution and How does 2D NMR aid signal assignments?
3. Discuss why titration experiment is useful and How does it help to identify unknowns?
For a large molecule in 1D NMR we most likely get peak overlapping and same coupling constant. 2D NMR leads to the development of chemical shifts and coupling constant into two dimensions and to resolve overlap of resonance which enable the correlation of interacting nuclei to be determined . So 2D NMR spectra can be apply to complex spectra which are difficult to be analyze by 1D NMR spectra.
Ans= Titration is use to determine the unknown concentration of an identified analyte. In this type of experiment a titrant is prepared as a standard solution then a known concentration and volume of titrant react with analyte to determine the concentration. The purpose of the Titration is to detect the equivalence point , the point at which the chemical equivalent amount of the reactant have been mixed. The equivalence point is detect by using indicator .
