Explain Quantitative Analytical method for the removal of micro plastics from drinking water using biosensors as cost effective tool
In a biosensing technique for the removal of the microplastic from drinking water, a dye is added with the microplastic containing water. The dye then binds with the microplastic. The dye-binded-microsplastic is then irradiated with a light of particular wavelength. Upon irradiation the dye-binded-microsplastic become fluoroscent. Fluorescence emission is recorded by a simple photography. The quantitative analytical method involves image analysis which identifies the fluorescent particles. The image analysis also allows the counting of the fluoroscent particles.
