Metazoa has potent venom because they have to protect themselves from prey and capture food as well.

  • There are lot of examples of venom secreting metazoa but we can take example of Cnidarians. They have tentacles which help them to intake of food but also tentacles have cnidoblast cell which secret Hypnotoxins that is neurotoxic itself and help Cnidarians to protect themselves from prey.
  • Scarpion are also a Arthropods (Metazoa) that secret poisonous venom.
