Compare and contrast the differences of the gel electrophoresis analysis of Eco RI digested pCR2.1-TOPO plasmid DNA of white and blue bacterial colonies. Explain why.

The band will be different because white colonies will not have the beta galactosidase enzyme which means it's gene of beta galactosidase is not present because in this position the desired gene has been inserted or it willnot have the E.cori cut site that why it will give one less band but on Evans in higher position.

And blue colonies have the beta galactosidase gene ehcih have an E.cori cut site and thus it will give more band and the bands length will be less
