d. During the investigation after the incident with the eye procedure, it was reported that all three women had stem cells injected into both of their eyes simultaneously. Once the women began suffering complications from the procedure, it became clear that the stem cells injected into their eyes had grown onto the retina and then contracted, detaching the retina from the optic nerve. Other than the obvious “injecting stem cells into one’s eyes” what other major flaw was made by the physicians performing the procedure?

                 

e. Do you think there should be more rigorous reporting of clinical trial results on clinicaltrials.gov in order to reduce the amount of “junk” studies posted? Do you think a new website should be created that is limited only to government-approved clinical trials? Explain your reasoning.

d) Another major Faw that the physicians made was that the stem cells were injected into both of the women’s eyes simultaneously. They did not wait to see the e+ect aHer just one women, they immediately went into all three.

e) I believe more rigorous reporting is needed in order to make sure that instances don’t occur where people are making up data to overestimate significance or break through. I think a website should be created, so people can see the updates on new clinical proven methods.
