Antimicrobial agents are those that stop or kill the microorganisms growth.

1-β-lactam ring is part of the core structure of many antibiotics commonly used for eg:penicillin which is therefore, also called β-lactam antibiotics. It work by inhibiting bacterial cell wall biosynthesis.

2 -  Vinclozolin is a dicarboximide fungicide used to control diseases, such as blights, rots and molds in vineyards, and on fruits and vegetable. They work by damaging the cell membrane of the fungus, inhibiting an important process that the fungi, pinpointing a single or multiple processes in the fungus.

3- Metronidazole is an antiprotozoal medication used along with antibiotic s to treat treat pelvic inflammatory disease, endocarditis, and bacterial vaginosis. Metronidazole is of the nitroimidazole class. It inhibits nucleic acid synthesis by disrupting the DNA of microbial cells.This function only occurs when metronidazole is partially reduced, and because this reduction usually happens only in anaerobic bacteria and protozoans, it has relatively little effect upon human cells or aerobic bacteria.
