1.Glycerol
The glycerol is required for TAG (Triacylglycerol) synthesis. In this process, the fatty acids are added to the glycerol backbone to form TAG. The glycerol is obtained form glucose supplied.
2. The glucose produced can enter into glycolitic pathway directly.
The product of phosphorolytic cleavage of glycogen doesn't need to be phosphorylated at the expense of an ATP to make it enter into the glycolitic pathway like in the case of hydrolitic cleavage. So, It is energy efficient.
