I asked this earlier but someone with no common sense and wasn't an "expert" said they couln't answer because there was no "A-D" so i will share this again.
Which of the following best describes the events of the cardiac cycle?
A. ventricular diastole - atrial diastole - atrial systole
B. systole - diastole
C. atrial systole - ventricular systole - diatolediastole
D. dub - lub - lub
The cardiac cycle is the performance of human heart from the ending of one heartbeat to beginning of the next. It has 2 periods the heart muscle relax and refill with blood called diastole following a period of contraction and pumbing of blood called dubbed systole. The first heart sound is at the beginning of systole lub sound s2 also lub s1 produced by closure of atrioventricular valvevalveand s2by closure of semilunar valves s2 is the dub sound ,s1start of systole and s2 end of ventricular systole
Arterial systole is the initial stage then ventricular systole with 3 phases
Isovolumetric contraction
Ventricular contraction
Ventricular ejection
Then atrial diastol or early ventricular diastole
Late ventricular diastole
In option c the third phase is note clear not any stage like diatolediastole if it is ventricular diastole it is correct answer
Otherwise option b is correct
