How would you know if an organism was occupying its fundamental or realized niche?

Answer #1

Answer=Competition such as predation and Resources are defining factor to know whether an organism is present in Realized Niche and Fundamental Niche.

When an organism occupied a niche in presence of predators so limited resources are there then such type of Niche called realized Niche(Narrow Niche)

When an organism occupied a niche in absence of predators so Unlimited (Enough) resources are there then such type of Niche called Fundamental Niche(Wide Niche).

Which of the following is true regarding the fundamental and the realized niche? Group of answer choices The fundamental niche is usually larger than the realized niche. A species’ fundamental niche can overlap with another species, but its realized niche cannot (at least not indefinitely). Both the fundamental and the realized niche are a reflection of the types of resources a species uses in the environment. The realized niche is a result of competition. All of the statements are true.
