The vegetal stratification of an ecosystem is influenced by several biotic and abiotic factors.for example the Crown is the top most surface of a plant receives more sunlight ,air, exposed to different conditions ,low moisture content,heat etc where as the soil present in the deeper layers has high water availability,low light and heat etc.biotic factors like communities,compositionl ,food habits,habitats,reproductive stratagies etc The difference in biotic and abiotic factors give pressure on the vegetal sources to be selective and results in biodiversity. Amazon rain forest creates a vertical layers ofpeculiar strata of biotic and abiotic factors dividing the environment into different ecosystems.
