Phosphate is an important compound of fertilizer which can be brought to crop fields after which are exceeded all the way down to water bodies all through rains through run off. it is also found in sewage that is dumped into the water body. This nutrient brings about dense growth of water flowers especially the algae and cause algal bloom. This algal bloom ends in oxygen depletion in water our bodies and causes loss of life of aquatic existence.
