The impotant factors are as follows:

1. pH: Bacteria grows in different pH. According to it is divided as neutrophiles, acidophiles and alkaliphiles.

2.Organic compounds: Amino acids , Purine and Vitamins are required for bacterial growth which cannot be synthesised by itself but they acquired it from the enviornment. Bacteria also needs nitrogen various minerals and water for its growth.

3,Temperature: Bacteria has a minimum, optimum and maximum temperature for growth which should be maintained in bacterial growth.

4. Moisture: This is the favourable condition for growth of bacteria
