Single bond

Unable to divide into further categories

Have a solid consistency at room temperature

Most of the animal which derived fats are saturated

When exposed to atmosphere it is unable to oxidized and rancidity

High level of saturated fats is a harmful to health

While on the other sides of unsaturated lipids has :-

Has both single and double bond

They are further divided into monosaturated and polysaturated

Have a liquid consistency at room temperature

Plants which derived fats are unsaturated

When exposed to atmosphere they are susceptible to oxidation and rancidity

They are not harmful fir human health.
