Describe an experiment to show that during translation, tRNA but not the amino acid of an aminoacyl-tRNA is involved in codon recognition.
Aminoacyl-tRNA involve only in the acetylation process of amino acid . During the translation process the acceptor arm of the t-RNA form base pairing with the corresponding m-RNA and the codon present on m-RNA bind with anticodon of t-RNA carrying a particular amino acid and helps in translation process.
Experiment: if the anticodon of t-RNA mutated it can not able to bind the corresponding m-RNA and translation might be stopped or premature termination occur. But if we mutated any amino acid their is other cognate t-RNA which can bind the other same amino acid and bind with corresponding codon of m-RNA.
