Answer #1

In my opinion it would be epidemic, because it has not spread all over the world so it can't be pandemic. It is mainly found in western hemisphere. When it was reported in US it was found in all states except alaska.Till now, strains of the West Nile virus have been commonly found in humans, birds, and other vertebrate animals in Africa, Eastern Europe, West Asia, and the Middle East.

As the disease was spreading rapidly it was noted more number of patients were hospitalized by attack of west nile virus mostly in North America so it can be termed as endemic.
