Hypersensivity:

Hypersensitivity is a set of undesirable reactions produced by the normal immune system,including allergies and autoimmunity. They are usually referred to as an over- reaction of the immune system and these reactions may be damaging, uncomfortable, or occasionally fatal.

• An allergy is an embellished reaction of the immune system because of exposure to certain substances.
• In this case,the allergic person’s body identifies the foreign substance and immune system’s allergic part produce a response which results in allergy.
• Allergic substances are called as allergens.

Inflammation:

Inflammation is a defense mechanism in the body.The immune system recognizes damaged cells, irritants,and pathogens, and it begins the healing process.Inflammation is the body's attempt at self-protection to remove harmful stimuli and begin the healing process.
