Explanation-

The loop of Henle is the portion of the nephron leading from the proximal convoluted tubule to the distal convoluted tubule. It creates an area of high urea concentration deep into the medulla by means of counter current multiplier system. Water present in the filterate flows out of the duct moving passively down the concentration gradient. This process reabsorbs water and thus creates a concentrated urine which is excreted.
