In Africa continent, bush meat trade is one of the main threat for
primate species. It is very common in the African region.
Another threat to primates is the destruction of their habitats.
Habitats destruction is increasing rapidly globally due to logging
and deforestation.
In south-east Asia most of the primates like gibbons langurs, leaf
monkeys are at the risk of extinction due to habitats loss,
wildlife trade and for Chinese medicines.
