Answer #1

In an incross of individuals of a G2 family during a G3 mutant screen, means when the cross of G2 family (let Ff) is carried out, the resulting offsprings are FF, Ff, Ff and ff are formed. The ratio of these offsprings are 3:1. In these indivisuals half of the offsprings are heterozygotes. So the evidence of a new mutant would be all of the crosses would have one half heterozygotes.

Hence answer (F) All of the crosses would have one half heterozygotes is right.

Identifying individuals with a high risk of Alzheimer’s disease usually involves a long series of cognitive tests. However, researchers have developed a 7-Minute Screen, which is a quick and easy way to accomplish the same goal. The question is whether the 7-Minute Screen is as effective as the complete series of tests. To address this question, Ijuin et al. (2008) administered both tests to a group of patients and compared the results. The following data represent results similar to those...

He has determined that setup costs would be $180 in machinist time and lost production time, and 100 brackets could be produced in a day once the machine has been set up. Ross estimates that the cost (including labor time and materials) of producing one bracket would be $10. The...
