Yes,  Empowerment program, has one been developed/promoted in my neighborhood. It is a mission through which we provide  support services for women, thier  health and education, and assist in employment. It helps to poor, homelessness, HIV/AIDS infected women. It also helped those women who are involved in the criminal justice system. It is a mission to empower the women. The mission was started since 1986. Its main aim is to decrease the number of poor women,  and to save women from abuse, and violence. It helps them by providing them training, counseling, education, employment and also by providing them supportive services and long-term follow-up is also given to them. All services are free and help them to reduce their involvment in the criminal activities.
