Relationship between models ,theories, and laws in Science
A scientific theory is an explanation of set of related phenomena, based on scientific evidence (practical/experimental/factual) that can be verified repeatedly. Thus, theory can also be said to be the scientific statement for the phenomenon. The scientific evidence includes the cause and reasoning of the phenomenon.
A scientific law is also the scientific statement for the phenomenon; however it is observation of the fact and does not include the cause and reasoning of the phenomenon.
A model is the representation that is based on the theory or the scientific evidence. Models are derived to make the understanding easier. Scientific models are also mean of correlation of the set of phenomena explained in the theory.
Thus, models, theories and laws are related to each other.
