Is there any significant difference in the length of the cell measures at different magnifications. If so why ?

Answer #1

Before answering the question, let us be clear about magnification and is use. In biology, we use microscope on a routine basis to view magnified images of an object mostly tissues and cells. Through magnification we merely increase the size of the image of the object, but the actual length or dimention of the object remains unchanged.

Now answering your question, the image as per the question, will be magnified and the resolution of the two points may increase (upto a limit), but the distance between two points remains the same.
