Obligate anaerobes are microorganisms which carry out anaerobic respiration i.e fermentation and can not tolerate and die at normal atmpspheric concentrations of 20.95%. In fluid thioglycollate media they are expected to accumulate and grow at the bottom of the tube because there the oxygen is minimum. However, since it is non-motile, it will not move much from the site of inoculation. This is shown in the figure.

Note- Please do not mind the colour. For homework purpose use black colour only.
