Growing crops can affect the biosphere and ecosystem in a good or bad way according to the way farming is done. The field where crops are grown is rich in biodiversity there will be variety of microorganisms,insects inhabiting that area. If the farmer follows safe farming methods and employs natural manure and all it will be beneficial for the land as well as biodiversity. It will enrich the land and the microorganisms and worms will make the soil more fertile. If the farmer employs insecticides,pesticides or other chemicals then it harms the soil as well as the organisms . This affects biodiversity in a harmful way.
