Answer #1

How many chromosomes are in an n=3 cell?

DNA arranged in the form of long thread-like structures in the nucleus of the cell called chromosomes. Each chromosome made up of DNA and proteins.

In humans number of chromosomes in somatic body cell is (2n) = 46

Number of chromosomes in reproductive cell such as oocyte (n) = 23

In given question the n=3 if it is somatic body cell then number chromosomes is 6 (2n) if it is reproductive cell (oocyte or spermatocyte) it will be 3 only (n).
