Science can be defined as the observation, identification, description, investigation, and theoretical explanation of a phenomena occurring in nature. Scientific knowledge is gained through practice and study of different phenomena. Science comes from the Latin word “scientia” that means knowledge.. Science is a highly skilled branch of study that analyzes the truth regarding facts. Science deals with different branches of natural and physical science that involves a systematic methodology based on evidence.

Scientific systemized knowledge involves observation and experimentation. Scientific methodology has different parts:

a) Observation of phenomena

b) Evidence to support formation of hypothesis

c) Experiments to test hypothesis

d) Repetition of experimental data

e) Critical analysis and Verification

f) Peer review and assessment by other professionals in the field.
