Plants contributes two important things to the ecosystem to serve human community. One of the most important thing is oxygen, which is generated during photosynthesis in palnts and second thing is food. All living organisms either directly or indirectly depends on plants for food as the plants can synthesize their own food to meet their activities and also store food in the form of starch. The starch can be eaten by herbivores then to carnivores and so on.
