As the name suggests, cell biology studies the structure of cell organelles and physiology of cells. Whereas biochemistry focuses on different chemical reactions performed by living organisms.Biochemistry is basically the study of chemistry of life. Cell biology is the study of macromolecules of the cell in relation with nucleic acid. For eg. In Cell biology , the two dna strands are linked by hydrogen bonds which enables the formation of double stranded DNA . Whereas biochemistry explains why and how these hydrogen bonds are formed. Thus we study the same thing by two different angles.
