What are all the similar structures (including organelles) found in Plasmodium falciparum vs. trypanosoma cruzi?
Plasmodium falciparum undergoes change in structure throughout its life cycle. The spindle shaped sporozoit grows into ovoid form schizont. The schizont then produces smaller merozoits that which then become ring like trophozoit.
The cell organelles include rhoptries and micronemes and apicoplast.
The trypanosoma cruzi also undergoes cell transformation and form amastigotes within the infected tissue. The released amastigotes transform into trypomastigotes and ener the blood stream.
The amastigote is round and the epimastigote is spindle shaped like the sporozoit of Plasmodium.
