What are the pros and cons of inpatient treatment centers? Provide at least two pros and two cons with rationale in your response.

Pros : inpatient centers allow for round the clock monitoring of the patient which is not possible with outpatient care.

A controlled environment helps the fragile patient to better work with their problem .

Cons :patients find it difficult to manage their normal lives and relationships, jobs etc

A lot of inpatient facilities are very expensive and the cost factor is a big negative . Some of these facilities have a lot of extras to improve comfort but might not necessarily be a factor in improving the condition of the patient
