why are vaccines advantageous to our immunity?
Vaccines are the biological agents that are non-pathogenic but have capability to induce immune response. These immune response develops the memory B cells for that particular agent and these B cells remains in the body for always. Now if the same pathogen that was injected as a vaccines ever again enters the body, there are already memmory B cells that attacked immediately as soon as antigen enters the body and neutralizes them. This exactly similar as the secondary response. So in first encounter immune system is trained against particular antigen later if it encounter the same antigen pre-active immune cells neutralizes it. So vaccines are taking as preventive measure vaccines can not cure a disease. So the only way vaccines provides benefits to our immune system is by generating immunity specially memory B cells.
