Answer #1

ANSWER: The substrate or reactant that gets converted into the desired product undergoes a chemical reaction that is catalysed by protein substances called as enzymes which speed up the desired chemical reactions by lowering down the activation energy which itself undergoing any significant change. The catalase group of enzymes break down the hydrogen peroxide into water and oxygen thereby protecting the body, also seen in plants. Enzymes are dissolved in water that act as an organic solvent.
