Answer #1

Let us take Red colour is dominant over white flower and incomplete dominance is not happening.

And take allele R is dominant over r.

And we have red flower which can either Rr or RR.

So we can identify it by test cross with rr, white flower and can obtained from progenies genotype.

Let take if the flower is RR and then cross with rr.

Then the gemetes are R and r. So all progenies having genotype Rr which is red.

And when the red flower is Rr, then we are crossing with rr, the the probable progenies are

Rr and rr.

That is there is 1/2 probability to get each phenotype.

Hi, currently studying for an economics final where we have to figure out profit maximization when given a demand and cost function either in perfect competition market or monopolistic. I was wondering if anybody can throw some practice problems at me so that I can get some practice in for solving the profit maximization, MR, AR, MC, ATC, TR and such. So if possible, can you hit me with what you got and then include the problem worked out so...

A population of plants displaying incomplete dominance for flower color (determined by one gene with only two alleles) has 60 individuals with red flowers (RR), 20 individuals with pink flowers (Rr), and 20 plants with white flowers (rr). What would you expect the phenotypic ratios to be in the future assuming the population is allowed to move to Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium? (show your work). The population of deer is currently 2,000 individuals. The population can be described by a logistic model...

As you saw from the lab PowerPoint slides last week, you will be doing a research study looking at ‘Aggression Priming” for your first paper. For this week’s discussion, I want you to discuss with your group what you think this study is about. What is the hypothesis? What theory does it come from? What do you predict will happen (do you expect something different than the hypothesis in the researcher instructions? If so, what and why?)? Do you think...
