(a) autosome
(b) sexual chromosome

Answer #1

New combination of gene occurs in b) sexual chromosome

new combination of gene or recombination typically occurs during meiosis. recombination is a process of DNA exchange pieces of their genetic material with each other. Recombination is seen in meiosis (specifically, during prophase 1). During the first phase of meiosis homologous chromosomes line up in pairs and swap segments of DNA. this is called crossing over. Crossing over creates gametes that contain new combination of genes and that hepls in maximizing the genetic diversity of offsprings during sexual reproduction.
