Microbiology: true or false: chemoheterotroph use organic carbon for their source of carbon, but photo heterotrophs do not.

Answer #1

Answer:- The statement is false because chemoheterotroph don't use organic carbon for their source of carbon instead they use carbohydrates, lipids , sulphur and protein as their carbon source . They even can't able to use carbon dioxide in order to produce their organic compounds. Again here in the statement it is given that photo heterotroph don't use organic source as their carbon source but actually photo heterotroph use organic carbon to derive carbon from them in order to mitigate the necessity of carbon to perform various function.

So the given statement should be " chemoheterotroph don't use organic carbon for their source of carbon but photo heterotroph use organic carbon as their source of carbon".
