In many locales, large gymnosperms predominate over large angiosperms. Under what conditions might gymnosperms have the advantage, and why?
Gymnosperms are the plant which bear no flower or fruit and produce unenclosed or naked seeds while angiosperms are the plant that produce flower for reproduction. Gymnosperms reproduction is unisexual does not produce flower as a result gymnosperms do not need pollinator and can reproduce by its own while angiosperm produce flower and pollinating agent is required for reproduction in many cases.
Another advantage of gymnosperms over angiosperms is they are perrinial and evergreen trees while angiosperms are seasonal.
