Homework Answers

Answer #1

Clinical in-use test is used to evaluate the efficacy of high level disinfectant products safely in real world situations like hospital, nursing homes or other clinical places. In these places probability of getting highly infectious and pathogenic microorganism is much more than other places as treatment of patients are routinely performed in these places. Efficacy of a disinfectant against these pathogenic strains is much more relevant than applying these disinfectants to other tests where much pathogens are not available. In Clinical in Use test is applied to destroy pathogens obtained from blood, mucus and thus it is better than other mode of disinfectant evaluations.
