What conditions favor lytic phage and which favor temperate phage? Why is stress to the cell as a trigger to induction evolutionarily favorable?
Lytic phage is a phage which after entering into host it make fragments of host genome and synthesize own proteins using host cellular assebly. But lysogenic phage is that phase genome of which get incorporated into host genome and replicate as the host genome replicates. Both lytic and lysogenic or temprate phafe depends upon different conditions. Lytic phage dependings upon environmental conditions as well as host physiology but temprate phage only depends upon prokaryote physiology.
When cell are under stress they will try to adapt themselves to survive because in order to survive they have to fit in the nature and should result in evolution for continuous propagation.
