You have been contacted by the public health department to determine the etiology of a respiratory syndrome in dogs. Samples taken from all dogs suffering from the same symptoms have been identified as all being positive for 3 bacterial species, 2 viruses, and 1 protozoal species. Your job is to determine which of these organisms (if any) is the causative agent of the disease. Explain IN DETAIL how you will test each organism, and what results you predict to see.

Symptoms are the adverse effects on our body due to disease. Disease may be caused or transmitted by causative orgainsms like Bacteria, Viruses or Protozoa etc. For diagnosis of cause the first step is microscopic study. Since bacteria and protozoa are microorganism and examination can give the result. But viruses uses another strategy. They use hosts replication or defence system to cause disease. They requre molecular level examination such as molecular probing or biosensors etc.
