In order for physical therapist to provide best treatment for his patients, he needs sound knowledge of human biology including anatomy, physiology, pathology,bio mechanics, pharmacology etc. Physical therapist needs to understand how different tissues can heal and responds to various treatment options. Physical therapists needs to understand the biological processes behind healing and pain. This is how an physical therapist needs knowledge of biology.
