a. In a strawberry plant, during the pollination, the fertilized ovaries form a separate fruit. The strawberry part which is eaten as a fruit is a swollen part of receptacle tissues that connects the flower to the stem. The seeds that are outside the strawberry fruit are the main fruit which in thus contains a single seed inside them.

b.  Avocado is also known as alligator pear, a native fruit of America. It has one ovary and nine stamens that are arranged in three series of which one part grows as an ovary. Both male and female parts grow separately. They have two types A and B respectively. Both male and female plants grow closer to each other to allow cross-pollination.
