Question

What qualities of a chemical reaction are affected by enzymes?

What qualities of a chemical reaction are affected by enzymes?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

In the human body, almost all types of chemical reactions are affected by the enzymes. Because function of an enzyme is to lower down activation energy and complete the reaction in an accelerated manner.

Reactions taking place in digestion of carbohydrates, proteins, fats require a number of enzymes. Breakdown of gluse in presence and absence of oxygen requires a number of enzymes.

In Plants system , process of Photorespiration, photosynthesis, carbon fixation require a number of enzymes.
