As scientists conducting an experiment, you need to have an experimental group and a control group for testing a hypothesis. If you were a scientist, and with the knowledge you have, what kind of hypothesis would you test? Provide an example of an experiment you might conduct.
If would be a scientist, I would like to test the hypothesis of whether certain specific biofertilizer application increases the plant growth or not.
For this, I should take one independent and one dependent variable. Independent variable for this hypothesis experiment will be the biofertilizer and water. Dependent variables are height of plant, number of flowers, number of leaves etc.Any change in the dependent variable occurs due to change in independent variables. The control group for this hypothesis would be the specific biofertilizer, type of plant used for this testing, soil type, amount of water used etc. So this the experiment I might conduct.
