List several semi-renewable resources that need to be manged properly. What factors are often at odds in a resource manager's decisions?

Semi renewable resources are: trees, livestock, biomass energy, geothermal energy.

One of the semi renewable resource is the trees, that could be used for giving oxygen for breathing, along with building shelter and helping in protection from the UV rays. All of these should be managed properly because an extinction on any of the above, such as trees or water, would lead to an imbalance in the natural system .

The factors that are at odds of the resource manager are:

  • Increasing population
  • Deforestation and urbanisation
  • Decrease in awareness among people
  • Increasing recklessness
  • Manpower to increase campaigns for education.
