Tetrapod animals of class Reptilia are known as reptiles. It contains turtle, lizards, crocodile, snakes, Amphisbaenians, turtles, tuatara and other relatives (extinct).
Reptiles are one of the most successful and adapted organism both evolutionarily & ecologically. They can survive from ocean to deserts and from mountains to rainforest. Reptile is also the very diverse group which contains different kinds of animals.
Squmata is most diverse group(96.3%) in reptelia.It contains lizards(59%),snakes35%, Amphisbaenaians 2%.
Other groups like turtles 3.5%,tuataras.01%,and crocodilians. 3% show less diversity.
