Body temperature falls Blood vessels constrict so that heat is conserved. Sweat gland becomes inactivated. They do not start secrete fluid. Shivering continues and finally generates more heat to warm up the body. Heat is retained temperature returns to normal

2. sense organs sense it i.e thermoreceptors in the skin sense it.

3. Hypothalamus- temperature control centre makes the decision

4. Effectors act like muscle shiver
